South African native Paul got into visual effects after art school. Programs like Flame and Paintbox allowed him to apply his drawing and painting skills to a digital canvas. Despite being the final stop on the Hooligan assembly line, he embraces the pre-production process, even being on set to ensure a seamless transition from production to post. VFX supervision, editing, conforming, finishing and compositing are all in Paul’s wheelhouse, having held senior positions at top post houses from Johannesburg to London to NYC. Along the way, Paul has collected credits on films for global brands, music videos, TV shows and blockbuster feature films.
