UPDATE ON COVID-19 AND WORK AT HOOLIGAN

To all our colleagues and friends, we hope this finds you well. At Hooligan our priority is the health and safety of our staff and creative partners. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we are making every effort to stay informed and have implemented a variety of contingency plans for working remotely.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT Please note that as of Monday 16th March all staff at Hooligan will be working remotely.

We have created a strategy by which our employees can seamlessly work remotely. All editors and assistants will be equipped with compatible hardware and software to enable them to work off site with remote access into our network. Day to day, we may have limited staff on site to assist with active projects.

We have established protocols whereby all projects and media will be protected and shared responsibly to enable our editors and staff to continue with their scheduled work.

Have tested and adapted all systems for the continuation of work conducted off site. We should anticipate that scheduled sessions might need additional time to be completed and we will work with our creative partners to anticipate any scheduling changes.

COMMUNICATION We have established Zoom Meetings which will enable multiple lines of communication and screen sharing for real time editing and review of work.

FINISHING SESSIONS We have confirmed a network of trusted business partners and vendors to support the continuation and completion of scheduled work. For our finishing needs we are coordinating with studios to ensure that sessions can be supervised and viewed remotely. Where possible we will have a skeleton staff to supervise these sessions.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING We have consulted with other partners, industry associations and health officials and are following their recommendations and expertise to inform our decisions. We will be compliant with New York City’s guidelines including thorough sanitization of all office areas and appropriate food safety.

It is of the utmost importance to Hooligan that our staff and creative partners are healthy, safe and supported at this time. Please know that we are available via phone, email and webchat services. We will continue to monitor the situation and endeavor to maintain the quality and consistency of work and we will continue to update you about schedules and delivery of work. Should any of your scheduled projects be affected we will inform you as soon as possible and work to find alternative solutions.

Please contact either myself, Sue Wladar or Lauren Basile should you have any questions or concerns and please look out for updates as they come to hand.
