Anne Gordon’s Homecoming is Official!

Our new director of development, Anne Gordon, is no stranger to the Hooligan family. In fact, she was a founding partner when we launched as Chinagraph 20 years ago. Needless to say, we’re over the moon about her homecoming. She has already made a huge impact in her short time since reuniting with Hooligan, including spearheading our recent brand refresh. It’s just the start of more great things to come.

Five Notables & Quotables

From Melbourne to NYC to London… Anne has held executive positions on the brand, agency, and vendor sides of the film and advertising industry: Saatchi & Saatchi, Ted Bates, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and JWT, to name just a handful.

She’s got big ideas to make Hooligan a vessel for positive change in the world… Building on her experience producing TED talks for TEDxNoosa, Anne is excited about fostering creative partnerships with brands and agencies dedicated to social good.

Her reunion with Hooligan has a storybook feel… It all started at Hooligan’s 20th anniversary dinner party last year. Anne flew all the way from Australia for it! They sat at the same table at the Gramercy Tavern where they celebrated their first job ever together as Chinagraph. Reminiscing about the good ol’ days turned into an opportunity too good to refuse: “Wouldn’t it be great if you came back and joined our team, Anne?”

Kane says…”We considered Anne’s homesickness for Australia a sort of affliction from which she’s recovered by coming back to the states and Hooligan. She has the benefit of knowing us well, but also brings a welcome perspective that being away for years can give you.”

Anne says… “I have never been able to match the quality of the people at Hooligan. Kane, Eric, and Rosemary are genuine people who value every member of the staff, and the collective work ethic and dedication to their clients and the creative process here is phenomenal.”
